Be a shining light that reflects upon others the beauty of themselves in ways in which they can release and learn to love, from the inside out. This sentence rings true in two ways-internally within ourselves as well as environmentally as golden hour sessions are an absolutely gorgeous time to have photos taken!

What is golden hour? It’s when the light is softer and golden about an hour before (and a bit after) sunset. It may not be a wide window but man-it is SO worth it! More often than not we get some really gorgeous sunsets here in Alberta and we definitely like to utilize this as much as we can, whenever we can, so, when Cassie sent us a message asking if we could meet her at a local provincial recreation area for some personal branding we were like ‘just say when and we’ll be there!’ What we weren’t anticipating was the sunshine filtering through the dust on the gravel road as we arrived, creating this exquisite ethereal feel. We spoke with Cassie and we doubled back quick to take advantage of it…and it was awesome!

We love travelling all over Alberta and discovering new areas as well as visiting old ones-so if you know of anywhere around you which you feel is less than grande-have no fear as the right time of day can transport you and make you feel like you are in a completely different place…and it may even make you see things in a different light.

We haven't yet experienced a session during blue hour (about an hour around sunsrise where the sky transitions from blue to golden/multi-coloured) so if you are interested in doing this and are a morning person-we are SO down for it! Get in touch!

We love to showcase the beauty in which we see and give others the confidence that they may not normally have within themselves-there is beauty in nature, and, beauty within you-let us show you.

Stay golden.

I’m livin’ my life like it’s golden-Jill Scott
