A lovely backyard wedding in Olds, Alberta.
Kealy & Teagan
We got to travel down to Olds during a heat spell, where the weather was predicted to be hot, sunny and a chance of thunderstorms shortly after the ceremony to very warm & cloudy with a chance of severe thunderstorms so we knew that we were against the clock in regards to getting the photos we needed and wanted.
“We don’t meet beautiful loving souls by accident or chance, they are meant to cross our paths for a reason, especially those we have a mental attraction, wild chemistry, and a deep soul connection with.”
This quote perfectly sums up Kealy & Teagan-they are two old souls in young bodies with a connection to one another that runs deep and we first got to witness this during their engagement shoot in Sylvan lake earlier this year…and it’s so dang beautiful!
We had the pleasure of capturing Kealy & Teagan’s BIG day! Just watching them interact with one another, how much they genuinely love each other with this sense of playfulness and simplicity, with their whole hearts was just the sweetest-it’s like they’ve truly known each other for many, many lifetimes and when they look into each others eyes-they are looking into each others souls and we are thankful that we got to witness and capture it firsthand!
After golden hour we made our way back to the venue, set-up one fantastic sparkler exit (if I may say so), and, not long after we finished it began to rain. Teagan mentioned to us earlier that he was surprised that it didn’t rain because it has rained on every single one of his relatives wedding days like his parents, grandparents, aunts, etc. like a generational good luck charm.
