So it’s been a little while since I last blogged, BUT we have a good excuse! We have been thrilled (and pleasantly surprised!) to be so busy since we launched our website in May 2021, honestly our website and social just went right on the back-burner as we were both working in other jobs as well. It’s looking like we will be able to make Peak & Prairie our primary concern in 2022, which we are absolutely delighted about!

So anyway, thats-that. We’re going to be catching up with sessions and weddings shot during the second-half of 2021, so expect this blog to be bringing you some sunshine and colour; which feels a little odd seeing as it was a sharp -41 with the wind chill this morning. That’s MINUS FOURTY-ONE for those who may be reading this blog from the UK!

This was a branding session shot on a warm, July evening, for the clothing side of Alberta barrel racing & rodeo news hub; Lipstick & Cowboy Boots. This was our first-time meeting Cassie, who was an absolute dream to work with and now a valued repeat customer. The wildfire-smoke from BC blocked out (an otherwise clear days) golden hour, but gave us a pretty nice diffused light to work with- and we managed to get as wide variety of images for Cassie to use to promote her clothing line at an upcoming trade show. This was (roughly) an hour session and the client received around 40 images optimized for use on social media and web.
