WOW! Okay we’re just gonna kick right off with what a BEAUTIFUL place to tie the knot!
Take exotic plants, colourful flowers, diffused sunlight pouring through iconic glass pyramids…add two people as sweet and absolutely in love as Doris and Logan, surround them with their nearest and dearest and you have a recipe for a really memorable, intimate wedding. There were some family missing; Doris has family overseas and unfortunately due to travel restrictions they weren’t able to be there in person. They were though, able to attend via a Zoom call- which must have felt bitter-sweet on such a special day. This is something we can totally relate to as all our family is out of province and overseas, but the ability to keep in touch via video calls means you never really have to miss a thing.
D&L booked our ‘mini’ wedding package which is a great option for days like this. 3 hours photography covered the build-up to the ceremony, the ceremony itself, wedding party portraits, tonnes of pictures with the bride and groom while we explored the pyramids and group shots up on the roof over-looking downtown Edmonton. Like all our packages, it comes with a keepsake wooden box (they really are beautiful boxes and we have to do a post showcasing our products very soon!) and a wood and glass wedding USB. You also get a digital gallery delivered into your portal where you can order prints, download and share with family and friends.
So, almost exactly 3 hours after we arrived Doris and Logan drove off (with cans rattling behind the car- love it lol!) to get the after-wedding party going, having shared their vows, sealed them with a kiss and created beautiful memories to last a lifetime. While we love a big, extravagant wedding with all the bells and whistles, this really was a beautiful way to say ‘I do’.
