Autumn love story in Edmonton, Alberta.

Lexi & Isaac

Okay so I know there is a pattern starting to develop with starting my blog posts by talking about the weather, but seriously!!! Anyone that ventured outside in central Alberta this week could have experienced slush, roads literally like ice rinks (hilarious), +5, sunshine, rain, blizzard or heavy snow, -32…or all of the above! Luckily in Peak & Prairie blog-land we are still very much in fall, which was stunning and the busiest season to-date for our young business. Edmonton River Valley in particular just looked fantastic this year and was really helped by dry weather and lots of sunshine! In fact, an upcoming Blog Post will be about an October wedding at Hotel Macdonald, where it felt like a summers day up on the terrace.

Lexi & Isaac booked our engagement session, which takes place over two locations. We ask you to choose a place you love and a place you fell in love. L&I went for Louise McKinney Park and Griesbach for all of the stunning red and orange fall colours. We really enjoy getting to know our clients stories during these sessions; our goal is to learn a little about you as a couple, understand your connection and for you to feel relaxed and comfortable enough for that connection to shine through! We could tell from the instant we saw Lexi & Isaac together that they were going to be fun to shoot with, and they jumped into all of our requests and prompts without a second thought (even when it started raining a little!) which was awesome!! It was great to see them become really at ease and natural with each other as the session went on and we are absolutely sure their wedding photos will be beautiful!

If you would like to talk to us more about our engagement packages, then shoot us a message on Instagram or fill in one of the contact forms on our website. We are including a complimentary engagement session with all 2022 and 2023 weddings booked between now and the end of March!
