Charlaine & David’s families flew in (from Quebec and Ireland respectively) and closest friends gathered, to witness them tying the knot in a sweet ceremony at a beautiful spot in Beaverhills Biosphere - located just east of Sherwood Park, Edmonton.

In the heart of Alberta, nestled amidst the serene wilderness east of Edmonton, lies a hidden gem of natural beauty - Beaverhills Biosphere. Imagine a canopy of trees stretching above, their leaves dancing in the soft breeze. The air is filled with the sweet scent of cherry blossom, and the sounds of birdsong (ok, ok, the HONK of Canadian Geese!) provide the perfect soundtrack to this idyllic scene. This is the backdrop C&D chose for their micro wedding, a place which had special meaning to them, as it was actually the spot David had proposed.

Their officiant, Pat Steffes, was a perfect fit for the occasion and did a fantastic job keeping the mood light and drew plenty of laughs with his telling of the story of Charlaine & Dave, and how they overcame language and culture obstacles as they got to know each other (Peggy and I can relate!!)!
